A former Chief Justice of the Superior Court of Quebec, Me Rolland is Senior Counsel, mediator and arbitrator at Langlois, Avocats. Though he has participated in the activities of numerous organizations throughout his career, Éducaloi is the one to which he has devoted the most time. This is due to his personal interest and his firm belief in Éducaloi’s mission and values.
Me Rolland has known Éducaloi since its creation. Over the years, he has remarked on the relevance of the information tools it has developed, which permit citizens to better understand their rights — whether or not they choose to assert them.
Patient, rigorous and persistent, Me Rolland practiced mainly commercial law but also had a special interest in family law due to its importance in people’s lives. He also served as Principal Administrator of the Voluntary Reimbursement Program created by the Charbonneau Commission. This program enabled the government to recover more than 100 million dollars in two years.
