Being on the board of a non-profit involves a lot of complex decision-making. Understanding your responsibilities is key to good governance.
Presented by a lawyer and a social economy finance expert, you will discover things like:
- some key board responsibilities for non-profits incorporated in Quebec,
- real-life scenarios involving board decision-making, and
- tips for drafting clear and useful by-laws.
This workshop is interactive and offers participants the opportunity to practice useful skills for being on the board of a Quebec non-profit.
People who attend this workshop will be invited to a community of practice event with our experts at a later date. 10 people attending the community of practice event in person will also be offered a free 3-hour consultation with a lawyer.
On January 23, you can attend this workshop in person or online. Please make sure to select the right ticket option when registering for this date.
We recommend attending in person if you would like more opportunities to interact with the presenters and other participants.
