Being on the board of a non-profit involves a lot of complex decision-making. Understanding your responsibilities is key to good governance.
Presented by a lawyer and a social economy finance expert, you will discover things like:
- some key board responsibilities for non-profits incorporated in Quebec,
- real-life scenarios involving board decision-making, and
- tips for drafting clear and useful by-laws.
This workshop is interactive and offers participants the opportunity to practice useful skills for being on the board of a Quebec non-profit.
People who attend this workshop will be invited to a community of practice event with our experts at a later date. 10 people attending the community of practice event in person will also be offered a free 3-hour consultation with a lawyer.
On January 23, you can attend this workshop in person or online. We recommend attending in person if you would like more opportunities to interact with the presenters and other participants.
