Some initiatives made possible through remaining balances:
We created a project on women’s health rights. Through it, we provided useful legal information to professionals working with women and teenage girls. We mobilized the community, educational, and healthcare sectors, enabling youth to better understand their health-related rights and responsibilities.
We created several articles and an infographic to explain how class actions work, including: What Is a Class Action? ; Starting a Class Action ; Taking Part in a Class Action; Class Actions: Getting Your Money.
We updated many articles on consumer law, touching on topics like cellphones, renting property, filing complaints and taking legal action. These articles were promoted to a broad audience through our platforms and on the radio.
We improved and consolidated our guides on financial fraud. We now have a single guide explaining the various forms of financial fraud to seniors and the options available to them. We also created a quiz to help Quebec investors safely invest in cryptocurrency and carried a promotional campaign on prevention and legal remedies to inform the public about these new tools.
