This workshop uses role-playing scenarios to help tenants build practical skills for making sure their rights are respected.
It covers:
- applying for an apartment,
- setting the rent at the beginning of the lease, and
- getting repairs done in your apartment.
This workshop is in plain language that’s easy for the general public to understand. Éducaloi created it with a community partner to meet the needs of marginalized communities.
This workshop is part of Knowledge is Power, a legal education project aiming to empower English-speaking Black people, Indigenous people, and people of colour (BIPOC) across Quebec.
