Éducaloi’s By-laws in Plain Language

Our by-laws contain Éducaloi’s main governance rules. They complement the law by explaining how the organization applies it in practice. For example, they describe the powers and responsibilities of the board of directors, its committees and the executive director.

Keep in mind, however, that every organization has a different governance structure. At Éducaloi, we chose to create detailed by-laws, but another organization might make a different choice and have much shorter by-laws. Those by-laws could then be completed by other documents (for example, a board charter or a code of ethics and conduct).
